Compass Claims are a trading division of Compass Corp Pty Ltd. Compass is a market leader in the supply of replacement vehicles and accident management services to clients who have been involved in an accident for which they were not at fault. We manage the service from start to finish, including the selection of a repairer and the provision of a replacement vehicle during this period.
Commonly called ‘demurrage’ we prefer to call it Credit Hire. We provide you with the replacement vehicle and when your repairs, and the hire has finished, we send the bill to the insurance company of the 'at fault' driver.
In 2006 Compass Claims was born as the need for non fault motor accident management became more and more apparent. Few people realise that having been involved in an accident that isn’t your fault you are legally entitled to a like for like replacement vehicle.
